Six members male idol group, Boyfriend, describes their experience about their debut.

Boyfriend consists of Minwoo,flower boys twin Youngmin and Kwangmin who gained popularity as ‘K.Will’s backup dancers’, ‘IU’s boyfriend’ and Jungmin who has been said to be the cute version of Yoo Seungho and 3 other members. The have been gathering much female fans attention even before debut because of their flower boys appearance.

Boyfriend debuted on the 26th of last month (in Mnet’s M! Countdown). The 6 members commented “because we have only debut for one wekk, we still feel a bit silly and stupid, but everything seems especially happy.”

They woke up at 4AM, and began their busy schedule. At 5am, they arrived at Chong Dam Dong to do their make up and at 9:30 they arrived at Carribean Bay for MBC Show Music Core’s pre-recording.

Despite their busy schedule, they did not lose their bright smiles.

Donghyun: “Though we receive our schedule early in the morning and we have to work till very late, the fact that we have debut is still as if we are dreaming. I don’t know how are we going to live through every day, but it has been really happy.”

Boyfriend, with their flower boys looks and cute performance, they have firmly captured the hearts of many female fans. Hence, they received the names of “boyfriend idol”, “Male version of Girls Generation”, Little cuties”, “fresh idols” and many other names. In only a week they have grown a lot already.

The members shining appearance shines brightly on stage. With their fresh and brigh appearance, dancing that excites fans, their “aegyo dance” reflected their energetic and enthusiastic performance.

Minwoo explained, “Aegyo dance to reflect a boyfriend acting cute at his girlfriend.”

Kwangmin and Youngmin also thanked the fans for their support even before their debut. Youngmin, the older brother by 5 minutes said, “We are very grateful for the fans who has given many passionate supports and in particular, I feel quite amazing that the two of us can stand on the same stage together.”

The two have been in the entertainment industry since young as child actors and CF models, they have filmed over 300 CFs for transportation, pstage, clothings, food, drinks and many other products.

Youngmin had also acted as Jang Dong Gun’s child time. Now that they have debut as singers, they talked about the funny moments when they were young. Youngmin revealed, “Once Kwangmin got injured so I replaced him for filming.”

Kwangmin paid a visit for the hospital today because of a sudden injury. Kwangmin explained, “One week ago at our debut performance’s rehearsal, I broke my right thumb.”

Kwangmin, despite his injure, wanted to give a perfect performance and injured the same spot again. Last week trhough M Countdown, Boyfriend began their second performance and their promotion. After a week of debuting, they have determined to “reflect our band name, and become the noona fans’ boyfriend.”

To obtain best production, Boyfriend debut songs are produced by Brave brothers who have worked with SISTAR and Son Dam Bi. Also, they have been choreograph with DQ who previously have worked with Rain and 4Minute.
